The first part of the program is about “Rakti” in a “Raga” and its importance in a Kucheri. This is part
of a lecture demonstration, delivered at IIT Madras, for the “Madras Music Academy” music season
in 2005. The Bhakti Geetam is specially selected on the occasion of “GuruPoornima”.
The second part is about an “Ajnata Vaggeya Kara”, and I am sure that we will have an opportunity
to learn about his music compositions. This is a very interesting program, with music specially
selected. I invite feedback from our listeners, whether this program has too much of classical music.
